2. Local work stays local
Rex Connector is designed for local AI workflows. Your prompts, project files, and model interactions are processed on your device unless you explicitly use an online feature or third-party service.
3. Data collected for purchases
When you buy a license, Stripe processes payment information. Rex Connector receives purchase metadata such as email address, plan, checkout session ID, payment status, and license status. Rex Connector does not store card numbers.
4. Data collected for activation
During activation and revalidation, the app sends bounded device metadata so the license server can identify the activated device and enforce plan limits. Where available, OS machine identifiers are hashed locally before transmission. Device fingerprints are stored as HMAC hashes. Activation keys are stored as HMAC hashes, not as raw keys.
5. Service providers
The MVP uses Cloudflare for hosting and license APIs, Stripe for payments, and Supabase for license records. These providers process data needed to deliver the service.
6. Logs and support
The license backend stores security and support audit events such as checkout creation, key generation, activation, revalidation, and revocation events. Local application logs remain on your device unless you choose to share them for support.
7. Retention
License, purchase, activation, and audit records are retained while needed for support, fraud prevention, accounting, and license enforcement. You may contact support to request deletion where legally and operationally possible.
